AS ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE
How might we perform our thoughts, feelings, and arguments in ways that agitate dominant pedagogical and methodological conventions of Eurocentric Angophone academia? In 2018, Richa Nagar collaborated with Beaudelaine Pierre and Naimah Petigny to wrestle with this question. The three performed their arguments during a Coffee Hour event in the Department of Geography, Environment & Society at the University of Minnesota in October 2019, and this performance was subsequently published in Commoning Ethnography, along with an introduction by Sima Shakhsari.
