Scholarly & Creative Writing

Over the course of the last three decades, Richa Nagar's scholarship and creative work has grappled with how to forge vibrant and ongoing conversations within and across spaces of struggle that are often seen as separated from one another. Writing as a theorist, storyteller, poet, creative writer, theatre worker, and activist in English and Hindi, Nagar has consistently refused traditional compartments that segregate one form of knowledge-making from another. She also underscores the importance of continuously struggling with the praxis of co-authoring -- where authority can be shared among knowledge makers and storytellers located in vastly different and unequal sites.
